My career in the fitness industry began in 1993 while I was studying a social science degree at university. Through Reebok, I qualified as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and over the next few years gained valuable experience regarding health and fitness in many different spheres including exercise, nutrition and first aid. I completed my degree in psychology and spent some time in London teaching in the gyms there.
In 2001 I completed my Pilates course through STOTT, a Canadian based organisation. I spent a year working at a renowned physio practice in JHB where I gained valuable knowledge and experience regarding exercise and rehabilitation. I have been teaching Pilates for 8 years and have owned my own studio for 5 years. I have a passion for teaching and inspiring others to reach their full potential. |
